As I do not know where you live - can only respond to the issue of the plant wilting - it needs water. Why distilled water? Not sure if this is good for the plant or why you are using - that is something only you can answer. Phals like food - I would use 1/4 strength 20-20-20 and, if it lives, needs bloom booster in the fall. You should water throughly - you did not say what medium it is planted in - this will determine the frequency of watering. Clay pots dry the medium and the plant quicker while plastic pots retain the mosture longer. Do not water the crown of the plant - will cause it to rot.
