The orchids that I raise are tested at being at a PH of 6.8. My understanding is that they require a PH in the range of 5.8-6.0. If this is correct how can I lower the PH to 5.8-6.0?? Is there a chemical method or a natural method of doing this (such as adding another material to the medium)? My medium at present is coconut husks/fibers and charcoal(from natural wood). Any assistance would be appreciated.
