Just received a psychopsis (oncidium) papilio with a 2 foot spike. It is growing in a small 4 inch plastic pot and I would like to transplant it into a heavy pot so that its top-heavy spike doesn't topple it. What suggestions do you have in repotting it? Is it okay to do so while in spike? A well aerated pot or a moisture retaining pot? And the media, what mixture? Thanks a million! Jean-Paul
